Off grid PV systems, also called stand-alone systems, are designed to provide electricity to homes, schools, business, hospitals, control stations, monitoring stations, telecommunication systems, mountains cottages, and holydays houses located far away from the electrical utility.
Off grid systems consist of photovoltaic array, battery set, safety control, fixation structure (fixed or tracker), inverter, charge controller and eventually small grid system control. When multiple off grid systems are interconnected, the system is called an off-grid network and requires power control station.
WS Energia team designs on demand off grid systems and off grid network to match the requirements of the local conditions and of the consumption equipments. The result of the design phase is an engineering project including the complete list of elements (PV modules, battery, inverters, power controllers ...) required to match the operating conditions imposed by the local radiation conditions, equipment usage and client comfort standard.
